Basketball Recap: Togiak Comes Up Short

Togiak lost against Koliganek back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Togiak Huskies took a 53-42 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Koliganek Huskies.

Koliganek's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Asante Barnes, who posted 18 points. The dominant performance gave Barnes a new career-high in points. Another player making a difference was Andy Andrew, who scored 14 points.

Togiak's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Koliganek, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

As of now, neither Togiak nor Koliganek have any future games scheduled.
