It was a good run, but Charles City unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a blow against the West Point Pointers, falling 57-28. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 36-18 back in January.

Charles City's loss dropped their record down to 12-8. As for West Point, their win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Charles City will take on Middlesex at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West Point, they will challenge Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
