Soccer Recap: Carlsbad Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Carlsbad was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Organ Mountain Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Carlsbad of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

Carlsbad's loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Organ Mountain, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carlsbad will face off against Lovington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Organ Mountain, they will square off against Gadsden at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gadsden will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more goals each game than the last.
