Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Comes Up Short

Lakeland lost against Norwell back in August of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lakers fell 2-0 to the Knights. The Lakers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Lakeland ultimately came up short, they really made Norwell work, particularly in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25.

Lakeland's offense was headlined by ABRIANA SATTERFIELD and MADISON LARIMER, who picked up six kills apiece. They got some help from ANNA RASLER and her ten assists.

Lakeland's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Norwell, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Lakeland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against Columbia City on the 30th. As for Norwell, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against East Noble on the 30th.
