Volleyball Recap: Kenston Takes a Loss

Kenston lost against Mayfield back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Kenston lost 3-0 to Mayfield.

While Kenston was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Mayfield's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-12, 25-14.

Kenston's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Mayfield, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Kenston will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bedford at 4:30 p.m. on April 16. As for Mayfield, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Berkshire on the 20th.
