Baseball Recap: Keene Extends Winning Streak to Three

Keene took a ten-run loss the last time they faced off against Londonderry, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Blackbirds skirted past the Lancers 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Blackbirds have posted since April 9, 2024.

Fitch Hennessey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off three hits. Hennessey was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.

In other pitching news, Watson Ferguson looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Back at the plate, the team relied heavily on Colin Tinnin, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one home run, two runs, and two RBI.
