Basketball Recap: Molokai Extends Home Winning Streak to Three

Molokai won the last time they faced Kihei Charter and things went their way on Saturday too. The Molokai Farmers came out on top against the Kihei Charter Tigersharks by a score of 52-40. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Farmers.

Molokai's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-5. Admittedly, the team didn't face the toughest opposition across those games, namely Kihei Charter, they, and Maui Prep. As for Kihei Charter, they are on a ten-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Molokai will venture away from home to face off against Seabury Hall at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Seabury Hall's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three matchups. As for Kihei Charter, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maui Prep at 6:00 p.m. on January 15th.
