Soccer Recap: Grant Union Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Grant Union was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Riverside Pirates. While losing is never fun, Grant Union can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Riverside are ranked 50th).

Grant Union's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Riverside, their victory bumped their record up to 6-0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Grant Union is set to square off against their familiar foe Stanfield/Echo at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Riverside will take on rival Umatilla at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
