Basketball Recap: Jones Takes a Loss

Jones lost against South San Antonio back in December of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Trojans lost 79-57 to the Bobcats. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

South San Antonio's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Malakhi Vargas, who posted 17 points. Those 17 points gave Vargas a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Miguel Bravo, who had 13 points.

Jones now has a losing record of 1-2. As for South San Antonio, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Jones didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-16 loss against Cole on the 21st. As for South San Antonio, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 64-27 win against Uvalde on the 21st.
