Basketball Game Preview: A.C. Flora Falcons vs. York Cougars

The A.C. Flora Falcons are taking a road trip to square off against the York Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Friday, A.C. Flora came up short against South Pointe and fell 50-40. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, York was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were dealt a 73-37 defeat at the hands of Dreher. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' South Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 249th, while the Blue Devils are ranked 59th).

A.C. Flora will have to keep a close watch on Deno Gilmore and Jackson Rampey, a pair of players who had a big impact on York's prior game. Gilmore posted 11 points, while Rampey earned six points. Gilmore is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games.

York's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for A.C. Flora, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
