Klahowya turns things around after tough road loss

There's no place like home for the Klahowya Eagles, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They managed a 52-48 victory over Seattle Christian on Saturday. That's another feather in the cap for Klahowya, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.

Eli Kraft continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with nine rebounds and two blocks. He has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last five times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grant Solvie, who scored nine points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Klahowya's victory bumped their record up to 6-7. As for Seattle Christian, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-10.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] the next time they take the court. Seattle Christian will host East Jefferson [Port Townsend/Chimacum] at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Klahowya will head out to face them at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
