Soccer Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington lost against Houston back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Mustangs. While losing is never fun, Arlington can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 56th, while Houston are ranked ninth).

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 7-5-2. As for Houston, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-1-5 record this season.

Arlington will take on Cordova at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Arlington will be up against Cordova's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.67 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Houston, they will challenge Collierville at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th.
