Baseball Recap: Union Takes a Loss

Union fought the good fight in their extra-innings game against Skyview on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 5-2 to the Storm. Surprisingly, this marked the seventh straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Union saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drew Hertenstein, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Union has also been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Skyview, the win got them back to even at 6-6.

While Union had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
