Basketball Recap: Kihei Charter Comes Up Short

Kihei Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 66-29 loss at the hands of Island. The matchup marked the Tigersharks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Kihei Charter's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Island, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

Kihei Charter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Molokai at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. After both having extra time off, Island and Kapa'a will shake off the cobwebs and take on one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025. Island is facing Kapa'a at the right time seeing as Kapa'a is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
