Basketball Game Preview: Tabiona Tigers vs. Duchesne Eagles

Tabiona and Duchesne are an even 5-5 against one another since January of 2020, but not for long. The Tabiona Tigers will host the Duchesne Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tabiona has three straight wins, Duchesne has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Saturday, Tabiona needed a bit of extra time to put away Wendover. They slipped by the Wildcats 67-66.

Meanwhile, Duchesne was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 49-44 to North Summit.

Tabiona is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points per game. As for Duchesne, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Tabiona didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Duchesne in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 39-34 victory. Will Tabiona repeat their success, or does Duchesne have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
