Soccer Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of Grand River Prep. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Grand River Prep this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 last Tuesday.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Grand River Prep, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lee will head out to face off against Kelloggsville at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Grand River Prep, they will venture away from home to challenge West Michigan Aviation Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
