Recap: Camden County Bruins vs. Holmes Aces
The Camden County Bruins won the last time they faced the Holmes Aces, and things went their way on Friday too. Camden County walked away with a 62-50 win over Holmes.
Xzavior Wiggins was his usual excellent self, scoring 26 points along with nine rebounds. He continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. J'ron Pendleton was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with five rebounds.
Camden County's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-9. As for Holmes, they now have a losing record at 6-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Camden County will take on Pasquotank County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Pasquotank County is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Holmes, they will head out on the road to challenge Manteo at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Manteo and five for Holmes.
