Softball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin won the last time they faced Iroquois West and things went their way on Monday too. The Blue Devils walked away with an 8-3 win over the Raiders. The victory was nothing new for the Blue Devils as they're now sitting on three straight.

Eva Ronto made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off nine hits. Ronto was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.

In other batting news, Draycee Nelson was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Callan Carpenter also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen bases of the season.

Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. They are 8-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win got Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin back to even at 10-10. As for Iroquois West, they dropped their record down to 6-10 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, Bismarck-Henning/Rossville-Alvin will take on Westville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Blue Devils' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Tigers have averaged an impressive 12.6 runs per game this season. As for Iroquois West, they will challenge Donovan at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
