There's no place like home for Frontenac, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They skirted past the Riverton Rams 42-39. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Raiders' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 247th, while the Rams are ranked 108th).

Frontenac's win bumped their record up to 4-7. As for Riverton, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-4.

Coming up, Frontenac will challenge Baxter Springs on February 14th. As for Riverton, they will host St. Mary's-Colgan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. St. Mary's-Colgan will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Riverton surely won't give up without a fight.
