Northwest is a perfect 7-0 against Ville Platte since October of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will venture away from home to challenge the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Northwest is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Pine Prairie, posting a 44-0 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their seven-point performance the matchup before.

Meanwhile, while Ville Platte put up some points on Friday, the same can't be said for Basile. The Bulldogs snuck past the Bearcats with a 6-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Ville Platte's victory bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Northwest, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Northwest against Ville Platte in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, as the squad secured a 42-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
