Football Recap: Norfolk Christian Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Norfolk Christian had to kick off their season on the road on Saturday, but they showed no ill effects. They were the clear victors by a 28-6 margin over the FCA B Bucks. The win was all the more spectacular given the Ambassadors' disadvantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 322nd in Virginia, while the Bucks are ranked 44th in Delaware).

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norfolk Christian will welcome Hampton Roads Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for FCA B, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Harvest Covenant at 2:00 p.m. on September 6. The match will give the Bucks their first taste of in-conference action this season.
