Basketball Recap: Memorial Comes Up Short

Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were dealt a 60-25 defeat at the hands of the Western Reserve Blue Devils.

Rayona Floyd-Brown was Memorial's leading scorer, having posted six points. Floyd-Brown also led the team in assists with three.

Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Western Reserve, they pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Memorial won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against McKinley at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Memorial is facing McKinley at the right time seeing as McKinley is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Western Reserve, they will be home for the holidays to greet McDonald at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
