Basketball Recap: Notre Dame de Sion Comes Up Short

The Notre Dame de Sion Storm were beaten by the Staley Falcons 58-22 on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Storm can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri basketball rankings (they are ranked 92nd, while the Falcons are ranked third).

Vivian Kuntz was Notre Dame de Sion's leading scorer, having posted six points. Avery Young held things down on the boards with three rebounds. Charlie Baity took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.

Notre Dame de Sion moved to 8-7 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Staley, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.
