Volleyball Recap: Lafayette Central Catholic Comes Up Short

Lafayette Central Catholic lost against West Lafayette on Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Knights fell 2-0 to the Red Devils. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lauren Johnson paced Lafayette Central Catholic's offense, picking up three kills. Johnson were helped by Paige Perez and Charli Cain, who contributed four assists each.

Lafayette Central Catholic now has a losing record of 13-14. As for West Lafayette, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 12 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lafayette Central Catholic will take on McCutcheon at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for West Lafayette, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Harrison at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
