Softball Recap: Frontier Falcons vs. Tri-County Cavaliers

Frontier had lost 15 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they dropped their record down to 0-13 to make it 16. They lost 16-1 to the Tri-County Cavaliers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Falcons of the 13-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Frontier saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Summer Kremer, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run.

As for Tri-County, the victory was the 12th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 13-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.6 runs on average over those games.

On Tri-County's side, Reese Johnson and Grace Luck were major factors no matter where they played. On the mound, Johnson pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Meanwhile, Luck struck out six batters over three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).
