William Thwaits' Rushing Yards a New Career-High

Starting off the list is Sahuarita's William Thwaits, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. For the season, Fuangunyi has run in 5 touchdowns while averaging 124.8 rushing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after six games last season, he was only averaging 56.17 rushing yards per game.

Ivan Higuera Delivers Electric Performance Vs Amphitheater

Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Ivan Higuera stepped things up a notch to give Douglas the 'W'. Nobody could stop Higuera as he threw for 164 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 39 yards.

Higuera and Douglas will square off against Cholla at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last time Higuera took on the Chargers, he threw for 125 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
