Basketball Recap: Orange Has No Trouble Against Person

Orange won the last time they faced Person and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Panthers put the hurt on the Rockets with a sharp 54-30 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

Alexis Stephens went supernova, shooting 42% from the field on her way to 19 points in addition to eight rebounds and four blocks. Those 19 points gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Roberson, who posted seven points along with ten boards and three steals.

Orange's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Person, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Orange will head out to take on East Chapel Hill at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Person, they will square off against Halifax County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
