Softball Recap: LeFlore Takes a Loss

LeFlore had lost three straight on the road, but on Monday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it four. They lost 15-0 to the Elberta Warriors. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Rattlers of the 15-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

As for Elberta, their victory bumped their record up to 10-12. Considering they have won eight matchups by more than five runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

For Elberta's part, they let Lynleigh May and Peyton Roberts run wild. May went 2-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI, while Roberts went 1-for-2 with two runs and two RBI. That's the most hits May has posted over her last nine games. Addison Cranford was another key player, earning two RBI and two runs.

Looking ahead, LeFlore will be playing in front of their home fans against Davidson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Elberta, they will challenge UMS-Wright Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
