Flag Football Recap: Morgan Schreiber's Menacing Defense Leads Resurrection over Maine East

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Resurrection walked away with it. They blew past the Maine East Blue Demons 28-6 on Monday. The Bandits not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since September 10th (when they won 53-0).

Emily Cook had an outrageously good game as she threw for 386 yards and four touchdowns. Those 386 passing yards gave her a new career-high. Shannon Flannigan was Cook's top target, picking up 53 receiving yards and a pair of TDs.

On the other side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Resurrection's defense and their seven sacks. In fact, those sacks all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut Morgan Schreiber.

Resurrection's record now sits at 10-14-1. As for Maine East, they are on an 11-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

As of now, neither Resurrection nor the Blue Demons have any future games scheduled.
