Volleyball Recap: Goleman Comes Up Short

The Goleman Gators didn't have quite enough to beat the True North Classical Academy Titans on Tuesday and fell 3-2. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Goleman sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-22, 23-25, 25-20, 23-25, 15-11.

Branley Borrego paced Goleman's offense, picking up 21 kills. Borrego got some help from Carlos Cesar Delgado and his 40 assists. Derick Delgado-Martinez controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Goleman now has a losing record of 1-2. As for True North Classical Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Coming up, Goleman will venture away from home to take on Varela at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for True North Classical Academy, they will take on Monarch in a tournament on Friday.
