Perspectives Leadership/Technology had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morgan Park Academy Warriors on Saturday.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-6.
Zulema Jaime had an outrageously good game for Morgan Park Academy as she had 14 aces and a kill. The dominant performance gave Jaime a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Cecelia Drown, who had three aces, two kills, and ten assists.
The victory was the fourth in a row for Morgan Park Academy, bringing their record for this year to 8-1.
Perspectives Leadership/Technology will look to take advantage of their home-court for the first time this season as they take on Butler at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Morgan Park Academy, they will venture away from home to face off against Varsity Opponent at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
