Hilmar lost to Hughson back in September, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Yellowjackets walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Huskies. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Yellowjackets.

The win didn't come easy: Hughson scored at least 18 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 14-25, 25-18, 25-21.

Alyssa Colston paced Hilmar's offense, picking up 13 kills. Colston got some help from Stella Pires and her 30 assists. Emma Gomes controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Hilmar's victory bumped their record up to 20-14. As for Hughson, they moved to 24-10 with that defeat, which also ended their four-match winning streak.

Hilmar has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Ripon on the 23rd. As for Hughson, after both having extra time off, they and Casa Roble will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
