Central Florida Christian Academy's success was spearheaded by the efforts of Jahmari Hammonds, who rushed for 215 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.7 yards per carry, and Gavin Pritzkau, who threw for 285 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Hammonds really tore up the turf during one magnificent 93-yard run. Davy Murphy got in on the action too, returning a kick for a touchdown.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Central Florida Christian Academy was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 232 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cornerstone Charter Academy only rushed for 134.

Central Florida Christian Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Nyshaun Drye, Da'Vion Monroe, and Hammonds picked up one apiece. Hammonds is also crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 140 every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, Boca Raton Christian came up short against Cambridge Christian on Friday and fell 45-36. Despite 174 more yards than the Lancers, the Blazers couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Central Florida Christian Academy will need to focus on slowing down Christian Anderson, one of several Boca Raton Christian players who made an impact when they last played. He picked up 279 receiving yards and three scores. Joey Weber was another key player, throwing for 442 yards and four touchdowns.
Central Florida Christian Academy pushed their record up to 7-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 39.3 points over those games. As for Boca Raton Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-3.
The upcoming game will be a clash of competing strengths. Central Florida Christian Academy has deployed a run-first offense that has averaged 196.9 rushing yards a game.
