Basketball Recap: Coshocton Christian Falls to Warsaw W in First Game of Season

Coshocton Christian had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Warsaw W Warriors by a score of 58-56.

Warsaw W's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Noah Hurley led the charge by going 7 of 16 en route to 21 points. Another player making a difference was Cohen Deeds, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine assists.

Warsaw W's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-6 and their overall record up to 6-9.

Coincidentally, Coshocton Christian and Warsaw W will both be playing Kingsway Christian the next time they take the court. Coshocton Christian will host Kingsway Christian at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, while Warsaw W will host them at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
