Football Game Recap: Lafayette vs. Northwest

After having lost a blowout to Eureka in their previous matchup, Lafayette were happy to find some success on Friday. Everything came up roses for Lafayette against Northwest as the team secured a 36-0 victory. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 22-0. The game pushed Northwest down to 3-2 and pulled Lafayette up to the reverse at 2-3.

Lafayette will stay at home next week against Parkway South at 7:00 PM. Parkway South took a loss in their last contest and are no doubt out to reverse Lafayette's good fortune. Northwest will look to defend their home turf against Mehlville at 7:00 PM. Neither of those teams wants a repeat from their last game since each was dealt a considerable defeat.
