Basketball Recap: Mounds Takes a Loss

Mounds was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by the Dale Pirates and fell 105-23. While losing is never fun, the Golden Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 346th, while the Pirates are ranked seventh).

Mounds' defeat dropped their record down to 10-13. As for Dale, the win was the 14th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-2.

As of now, neither Mounds nor Dale have any future games scheduled.
