Volleyball Recap: Beverly Comes Up Short

Beverly lost against Masconomet Regional back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Panthers came up short against the Chieftains, falling 3-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15, 25-15.

Masconomet Regional had a senior duo take command as Elise Clapp had eight digs and four aces and Lidia Benedetto had eight digs.

Beverly's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Masconomet Regional, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-6 record this season.

Beverly has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Revere on the 10th. As for Masconomet Regional, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Saugus on the 9th.
