Volleyball Recap: Leo Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Leo faced off against Fort Wayne Snider on Saturday. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers. If the Lions were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Panthers when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Fort Wayne Snider scored at least 19 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 17-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Leo's defeat dropped their record down to 14-5. As for Fort Wayne Snider, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-2.

Leo has already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Fort Wayne South Side on the 5th. As for Fort Wayne Snider, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against New Haven on the 5th.
