Wakulla Christian School wins going away against Community Christian

The Wakulla Christian School Saints had to endure a 15-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They escaped with a win on Monday against Community Christian by the margin of a single free throw, 43-42. That looming 43-42 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Wakulla Christian School yet this season.
Wakulla Christian School got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Langston Stephens out in front who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Bourgeois, who scored 12 points along with seven rebounds.
Wakulla Christian School's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-14. As for Community Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.
Wakulla Christian School will be playing in front of their home fans against the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Liberty County is no doubt hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses. Community Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
