Volleyball Recap: Ola Mustangs vs. Upson-Lee Knights

There's no place like home for Ola, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Upson-Lee Knights on Thursday. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Knights, too.

Ola easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15.

Makenna Fowler paced Ola's offense, picking up six kills. Fowler got some help from Ashlyn Phillips and her 14 assists. Morgan Jacaman and Lily Powell kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Ola has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Upson-Lee, the loss snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 6-6 record.
