Recap: Indian Creek Braves vs. Brown County Eagles
The Indian Creek Braves won the last time they faced the Brown County Eagles, and things went their way on Saturday too. Indian Creek came out on top against Brown County by a score of 54-47. Given Indian Creek's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 62nd, while Brown County is ranked 214th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Faith Wiseman continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Indian Creek's points. Another player making a difference was Lauren Foster, who scored 11 points.
Indian Creek has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season. As for Brown County, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-6.
Indian Creek is on the road again on Saturday and play against Westfield at 1:30 p.m. on January 13th. As for Brown County, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Greensburg at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th.
