Football Recap: River Rouge Takes a Loss

River Rouge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 28-14 bruising from the De La Salle Collegiate Pilots. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 19-18 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2022.

River Rouge's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for De La Salle Collegiate, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. River Rouge will take on Ferndale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for De La Salle Collegiate, they will square off against Brother Rice at 7:00 p.m. on the 11th.
