Basketball Recap: Minarets Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Minarets extended their losing streak to four on Saturday, dropping them down to 1-6. They took a 49-35 bruising from the Dos Palos Broncos. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 57-52 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Minarets still got an impressive performance from Bruce Lee, who posted 13 points. Michael Reyes was another key player, putting up 11 points.

As for Dos Palos, the win got them back to even at 3-3. The contest marked their most dominant victory of the season so far.

Among those leading the charge was Andrew San Ramone, who earned 22 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ajay Esparza, who scored nine points.

While Minarets had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
