Basketball Recap: Carroll Comes Up Short

Carroll was the 80-64 winner over Richwood when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Carroll Bulldogs fell 92-79 to the Richwood Rams on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (61), the Bulldogs still had to take the loss.

Carroll's loss dropped their record down to 23-17. As for Richwood, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-9.

Carroll has already played their next contest, a 68-51 defeat against Wossman on the 8th. As for Richwood, they will welcome Sterlington at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sterlington is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61 points per game this season.
