California had already won seven in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 4.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it eight on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Whittier Cardinals. Considering the Condors have won ten matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Alexis Rovira was a standout: she went a perfect 1-for-1 with one home run. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Martinez, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one double.

California's record is now 25-4. As for Whittier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 12 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-17-1 record this season.

As of now, neither California nor Whittier have any future games scheduled.
