Recap: Tampa Prep Terrapins vs. Winthrop College Prep Academy Spartans
The Tampa Prep Terrapins scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They claimed a resounding 82-46 win over Winthrop College Prep Academy at home. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Tampa Prep has managed all season.
Tampa Prep had a senior duo take command as Gabby Bush scored 25 points and Treniti Fluker scored 25 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bush has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalia Long, who scored 15 points.
Tampa Prep has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. As for Winthrop College Prep Academy, they now have a losing record at 10-11.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tampa Prep will face off against Clearwater at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Winthrop College Prep Academy's road trip will continue as they head out to face Academy of the Holy Names at 6:00 p.m. on January 26th.
