Soccer Recap: Landstown Comes Up Short

After flying high against Bayside on Tuesday, Landstown came back down to earth. The Eagles lost 5-1 to the Kempsville Chiefs on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Landstown of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Landstown moved to 8-4 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Kempsville, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-1-1.
