Baseball Recap: Armada Comes Up Short

Armada might've scored the first runs on Saturday, but it was Chippewa Valley who claimed the real prize. The Tigers fell just short of the Big Reds by a score of 6-4.

Armada has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season. As for Chippewa Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5-1.

Coming up, Armada will be playing at home against Algonac at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Muskrats' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Chippewa Valley, they will take on Utica Eisenhower at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
