Basketball Game Preview: Bear Creek Bears vs. Heritage Eagles

The Bear Creek Bears will be taking part in a tournament against the Heritage Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Bear Creek saw some tournament action on Wednesday. They fell to Summit 55-49. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Heritage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 20th straight loss dating back to last season. They took a blow against D'Evelyn, falling 64-20. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado basketball rankings (they are ranked 222nd, while the Jaguars are ranked 23rd).

Heritage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Bear Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Bear Creek and Heritage were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January of 2022, but Bear Creek came up empty-handed after a 36-35 defeat. Can Bear Creek avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
