Volleyball Recap: Fleming Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Fleming barely beat Dayspring Christian Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats blew past the Eagles 3-0 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wildcats also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

Fleming was led to victory by Brooke Schaefer and Ciana Lousberg. Schaefer had nine digs and two assists, while Lousberg hit 53.8% for seven kills and ten digs and five aces. Lousberg is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last 16 games she's played dating back to last season.

They weren't the only good server: Fleming was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 14 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in November of 2024.

The win keeps Fleming at an undefeated 4-0. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Fleming didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Merino on the 30th. As for Dayspring Christian Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Haxtun on the 30th.
